    The Imposter
PROJECT: MOTION GFX // CLIENT: RAW TV

We were thrilled to support Raw TV with all their graphics needs for their feature length documentary 'The Imposter'. Over the course of nearly two years, The Found Collective completed a wealth of different graphics and artwork for the film, including the titles, credits and astons, as well as various motion graphics moments such as the pivotal 'Big Reveal' scene at the climax of the film.

The film has been received with great praise by the international press and if you haven't seen it yet then go see it!

  • America's Secret Sex Life
PROJECT: BROADCAST GFX // CLIENT: PIONEER PRODUCTIONS

In December, Pioneer productions commissioned us to create a series of animations for their show 'America's Secret Sex Life'. Described as the update to the Kinsey Reports of the 1950's, the show peeks into the sexual habits of our friends across the pond and deals with such subjects as penis lengths, sodomy laws, adultery, internet porn and oral sex. All in all a really fun job in the run up to Christmas!

  • Stuart Lee's Comedy Vehicle
PROJECT: TITLE SEQUENCE // CLIENT: BBC

Stewart Lee returns to our screens with his very own comedy vehicle. The show was directed by the fantastic Tim Kirkby of ‘Look Around You’ fame. We brainstormed the sequence with Tim and his team and the final sequence was shot one early morning on the outskirts of Watford.

As well as the titles we produced a series of in-show graphics and completed the post on a complex earthquake scene for one of the sketches. Working with visual effects supervisor Alexis Hagger the final shot was achieved with a mix of Maya and Shake.
  • Consuming Passion
PROJECT: TITLE SEQUENCE // CLIENT: BBC

FND created a HD title sequence for the BBC as part of our continued collaboration with Breathe Post Production. Funny, moving and very raunchy, ‘Consuming Passion’, written by Emma Frost (Shameless), and directed by Dan Zeff (Lost In Austen, Worst Week Of My Life) is a drama about the publishing phenomenon that is Mills & Boon.

We recreated and animated famous Mills & Boon book jackets from across the years, with the actor’s names incorporated into the the various sleeves. The sequence was over a minute long and involved zooming into close up details of the books at high definition, which all in all meant some seriously long renders - more RAM please!
  • The Peter Serafinowicz Show
PROJECT: TITLE SEQUENCE // CLIENT: BBC

Before FND, Barney produced the title sequence and in-show graphics for ‘The Peter Serafinowicz Show’. Bringing together a wealth of motion graphics talents, he and his team created all the in-show graphics and visual effects shots. We were subsequently very pleased to work with the lovely Peter Serafinowicz again on the Christmas Special.
  • How Not to Live Your Life
PROJECT: TITLE SEQUENCE // CLIENT: BROWN EYED BOY

FND shot this title sequence for the comedy show ‘How Not To Live Your Life’, written by and starring Dan Clark. Shot on a time lapse stills camera up at the set in Glasgow one afternoon, the title sequence is a jittery stop frame animation, introducing the main characters of the show.
  • James Martin's
PROJECT: MILE MIGLIA // CLIENT: BBC

THE FOUND COLLECTIVE were pleased to be asked to complete the title sequence and in show graphics for the BBC documentary ‘James Martin’s Mille Miglia’. The show features James Martin on his quest to complete the famous Mille Miglia classic car rally, ‘1000 miles’ round Italy - Brescia to Rome and back again. We were commissioned to produced a 30” title sequence along with a series of maps, idents, captions, wipes and credits.
  • Car Crash TV
PROJECT: TITLE SEQUENCE // CLIENT: SHINE

This was a ‘quick turn around’ project for a pilot TV show. The show involved testing cars to their limits through a series of extreme tests including throwing them off cliffs and launching fireworks at them. We travelled to Manchester and filmed elements of the wreckers yard where the show’s producers were only too happy to facilitate our request of dropping cars onto TV’s! Back in the studio we composited the show’s footage into the screens and finished it off with some giant rusty 3D text for the show’s title. All in all a good fun job.
